Fractional Chief Strategy Officer

I am a senior C-level commercial strategy person, who has focused on businesses’ digital engagement to drive growth in both B2C and B2B. I lead commercial marketing and business development groups to shape brands and products, take them to market, monetise and scale them. In a recent role at a social network in MENA, I directed the businesses' repositioning, resulting in tripling their user base and revenue. I specialise in turning customers into communities of loyal, spending, true fans. I recently brought 30+ huge B2B organisations to the table to sell in brand engagement platforms.


Prior to that, I was MD of my own content marketing business for four years, creating branded social media and SEO-driven blog content, with 40+ clients including Google and eBay for which I directed the creation of 1,000+ posts. With a journalism, PR and communications background, I have been a best-selling non-fiction author, and a regular talking head on the BBC World Service. 


Outside of work, I am a regular FA-qualified football coach, and run half marathons, the occasional marathon and would prefer not to do another ultra-marathon, because everything still hurts.
