I love helping good businesses grow. Over thirty years, I have done that in technology, in retail, and more recently in carbon markets and circular cleantech. The common thread has always been people, partnerships and a clear plan.

I founded and ran Choc Chick, an ethical cacao brand, for fifteen years. I know first hand what it is like to be a small business owner: selling, deciding, and choosing which opportunities are worth your time. I took the brand into the US, European and Middle East markets, won accounts with Whole Foods Market, Holland & Barrett, Waitrose and Asda, and grew it to over 1,000 retail listings worldwide. Alongside that, I developed an ethical supply chain with farming cooperatives across Latin America and helped write the Anti-Slavery and Ethical Sourcing Toolkit.

Businesses often come to me when the product is brilliant but the route to market is unclear, the right partners are not yet in place, or too much of the selling still depends on the founder. I work alongside you and your team, not at you. We start with an honest conversation about where things really are, then build the strategy, pricing, partnerships and sales habits that help you move forward with confidence.

I have always worked for purpose led businesses, and it is where I am keen to keep contributing. I have led and managed BCorp, Soil Association and ICROA audits and applications, so if you are working towards BCorp certification, I can guide you through the process.
