During a career in HR spanning over 20 years and covering a number of senior roles, including HRD and Chief People Officer, a couple of things became apparent to me; 1) I was probably only spending 20% of my time ‘doing’ the true director level activity and 2) when you’re on the payroll you always feel a certain apprehension about speaking the real truth. The fractional route therefore made absolute sense for me, as the businesses I now work with get real value for money and the true, honest version of me – this is why I set up Netiro People in 2024.
I specialise in working with businesses to help them unlock the potential of their people, building the right people strategy for them aligned to a strong culture, employer brand and purpose. Our core clients tend to be small to mid enterprise businesses that are growing and scaling and who realise that, in doing so, they are experiencing challenges or pain points in their people journey that they didn’t anticipate. I provide a reassuring HR partnership for these businesses who don’t need or can’t afford a full time HR leader, providing expert and flexible interventions as and when they need it most.
Aside from this ongoing support, I also provide interim solutions for short term assignments, for example where there is a gap in the HR leadership or the people function needs to bring in specialist expertise; I’m an Employee Relations expert by trade so get enthused by all things related to this, for example supporting business restructuring activity or sensitively managing individual employee investigations and hearings.
Netiro People also has a retained service we offer to much smaller businesses who really just need operational HR support to start with.
