I'm a Fractional CTO and Product Engineer, building software since 2007.

Most of the businesses I work with don't need a full-time CTO yet. They need someone senior to make technical calls (what to build, on which stack, and what to leave out for now) and then help build it. I do both.

I build MVPs, internal tools and automations, and SaaS products, taking them from idea to launch. I also have my own SaaS, PixelWatcher, a webpage monitoring service I use every day.

When a business needs ongoing technical leadership, I step in as Fractional CTO: I own the roadmap, architecture, hiring and vendor decisions, and hand over when it's time for a permanent hire.

Based in Brighton, where I also run the PHP Sussex meetup.
